Sadguru Nannagaru narrates verse 4 of Aksharamanamala
Bhagavan said: 'I was a boy studying in Tirucchuli. Why did u drag me to your fold, Oh! Arunachala? There are innumereable Jivas in this world. Didn't you get anyonelse other than me? Distancing me from my parents, house and village, why did you bring me here, O Arunachala? What work did you want me to do Arunachala? Having brought me here, Please dont abandon me. By doing so, you will get blamed by this world. How eligible am I to cling onto you, Arunachala? It is you who has to hold me. Please dont leave me. If you leave me, the world will blame you, Arunachala. Atleast to avoid this blame, dont leave me O! Arunachala'.
