All the three acharyas are equally venerable

Shankaracharya, Ramanujacharya and Madhvacharya all these three names come in our study books. I have equal reverence for all the three acharyas. Shankaracharya and Madhvacharya both were sannyasins since childhood. However, Ramanujacharya got married. Initially, he has been a householder, later he accepted sannyasa. All these are external tussles. Still, he was equal to Shankara. According to his destiny, Ramanujacharya got married. Lord Shankara is the source of Shankaracharya, Lord Rama's brother Lakshmana is the source of Ramanujacharya and Lord Hanuman is the source of Madhvacharya. Both Lord Hanuman and Madhvacharya are equally proficient in Sanskrit grammar. As far as sadhana is concerned, all three acharyas preached equally. All three of them wrote commentaries for the Gita, Upanishads and Brahma sutras. When it comes to describing the goal, all the three differed from each other. According to Adi Shankara: As a river flows and merges into an ocean, the Jiva finally merges into God and becomes one with Him. Rivers like Ganges, Godavari and Kaveri merge into the ocean. Once they get merged, you cannot differentiate between the water-related to rivers and the ocean. Similarly, once the Jiva unites with God, one cannot differentiate between them. As per Ramanujacharya and Madhvacharya, a Jiva can only secure saamipya and saannidhya ie proximity to God; the Jiva can only secure the nature of God but cannot become one with Him. Thus the three acharyas differed in defining the final destination. But as far as sadhana is concerned, all the three of them preached equally and are equally adorable. As far as we are concerned, we have to adore them and listen to them.
