Bhagavan said: ' Sometimes you feel elated and sometimes depressed. You experience both the ups and downs of the life. You raise up as well as fall down. All these represent the clouds. As long as these clouds exist, the inner Sun of Knowledge remains invisible. If there are dense clouds in the sky, the shining sun becomes invisible. Likewise as long as the force of likes-dislikes and the force of thoughts exist, the the inner Sun of Knowledge remains invisible. The waking state as well as the dream state also represent clouds. You existed before the arrival of clouds as well as exist after the arrival of clouds. You are unable to 'Know Thyself' when the clouds exist and there is a opportunity to 'Know Thyself' when the clouds depart.
